Get to work.

Posted on 28th April 2011 in Uncategorized

I’m not a pro when it comes to sculpting, molding, or just making tokusatsu in general. However, I couldn’t just sit there and NOT try to do it. Yes, taking a hand at it DOES require money, but buying those few $5 blocks of clay and a Styrofoam head will be your first steps into making your own hero. Nobody in Japan was willing to teach me, so I just taught myself. YouTube is my best friend.

I was also fortunate enough to get feedback and tips from SFX Legend, Steve Wang…

…and Homegrown Hawaiian Hero creator Layne Luna.

So go buy some clay, a Styrofoam head, crank some tunes, and go make some heroes.

Don’t look like an asshole. Wear me.

Posted on 22nd April 2011 in Uncategorized

Tired of looking weak? Wear my face on your chest and scare justice into any dickface who gets in your way.

Through tests, it has been scientifically proven that wearing this shirt will make you more physically stronger, more sexy, and just overall better than everybody else in your shitty city.

There’s sizes for all the scrawny weak individuals that wanna call themselves men, and if there’s enough demand, Baby-Tees for all the fine-ass women out there, craving to have my face all over their titties.

Peace.

Hey-Ho! Let’s Go Rider Kick!

Posted on 16th April 2011 in Uncategorized

Although, Kamen Rider has lived on for 40 years, April 15th marks the day that we lost one of the greatest punk rockers in the history of music. The one and only, Joey Ramone.

The lead vocalist of the punk rock band “The Ramones”, Joey acted as the frontman and voice of the group who inspired many and still do so to this very day. The Ramones proved that you don’t even need to know how to play your instruments to be able to rock. As long as you have three chords, Leather Jackets, and loud jams, you got yourself a fuckin’ party.

After 7 years of battling lymphoma, Joey Ramone died in New York in 2001. At the time of his death, he was listening to the song “In A Little While” by U2.

Joey will always be remembered in this world as a punk rock icon and an inspiration to bands and artists worldwide for as long as this planet spins.

See ya in hell hombre.

You’re a “Common Rider” now.

Posted on 16th April 2011 in Uncategorized

It’s hard to believe that Kamen Rider’s been kicking monsters in the face and making them blow up for 40 years now. Ishinomori would’ve been proud. Especially about how many people he’s inspired around the world through this character. A good example of this, is a Filipino fan named Alfred (a.k.a. Ryo) who customized his 150cc Honda to look like Kamen Rider’s trademark “Cyclone”.

Taken at Tamashii Con in Manila, Alfred talks about his love of the show and how much its inspired him to the point where he felt he has to ride just like our bug-eyed hero.
